Why do lesbian and bisexual women have higher mortality rates?

A study has revealed the health struggles that lesbian and bisexual women experience compared to those who identify as heterosexual. 

Women who identified as lesbian died 20 per cent earlier than heterosexuals, while bisexual women died 37 per cent earlier, according to the study published last month.
