Donald Trump says he will appeal 'scam' conviction as he hits out at 'highly conflicted' judge

Donald Trump returned to the campaign trail a day after being convicted in his porn star hush money trial and vowed to appeal the guilty verdict.

Speaking at a press conference at Trump Tower in Manhattan on Friday, the former US president said: “If they can do this to me they can do this to anyone.”

He added: “These are very bad people."
