A MOOSE LOOSE IN THE WORKSHOP

When did you first get involved in bikes?

Not long after I started walking I suppose. My first bike when I was about three was a Tas minibike. They were an early starter in the minibike boom back in the 70's, with an air-cooled two-stroke engine, manual clutch but no gearbox, rigid frame and a pull start like a lawnmower. I had to get Dad to cut the solid mounted footpegs back a bit as they would dig into the ground when cornering.
