The notion of ‘guilty pleasures’ is a load of crap. There’s no such thing. Life’s too short to be worrying about what other people think and apologising for your own personal tastes. So what if you want to listen to Hall & Oates or curl up on the sofa in front of the Clue movie? You like what you like – it’s not a guilty pleasure, it’s just pleasure.
Regan McLaughlin is a firm believer in this. In fact, he doesn’t just believe it, he lives it. “No matter how much money I have in life, my dream car will always and forever be a Fox-body Mustang,” he tells us. “I feel at home in them, and I don’t really think anything can change that.”
There’s a clear reason for this, which all makes sense when we start to dig into Regan’s back story. “I have been a true car person ever sense I was little, playing with Hot Wheels,” he continues. “I grew up watching Fox-body Mustangs get tuned on a street next to my grandparents’ house, as they lived next to a tune shop around 1992-93. I have always loved cars, and as I
