And so June, Pride month, is a great time to learn about some of the key events and crucial moments that have shaped modern life for the LGBTQ+ community.
With dedicated queer museums and gallery spaces throughout the city, there are now quite where you can learn about queer heritage – beyond the all important pubs and bars which served London’s community over the years.
