HOW TO USE YOUR TEMPLATES

ABOUT YOUR TEMPLATES

Drunkard’s Path blocks are made from two pieces, and your template set includes both. Template A is the quarter circle section, and Template B is the arc section of the block. This template set will produce a 3½in square unit, with a finished size of 3in square once sewn into a quilt. The dashed line on the template is a reference for the ¼in seam allowance and can help with alignment if you are fussy cutting any pieces. The three dots along each of the curves can be marked on your cut pieces to help you line up the pieces for sewing.

CUTTING OUT

To use your templates, cut a 3½in wide strip of fabric and trim one end. Align the straight edges of your template with the edges of the strip, then cut along the curve. Rotate the template, and line up with the long edges of the strip. Cut along the straight edge
