James Cleverly: The home secretary says the Tories are committed to listening to voters

Home Secretary James Cleverly has vowed his party is “committed” to listening to voters in the South-East as he appeared on the campaign trail.

The Conservative politician spoke as he visited Kent after being grilled as to why Prime Minister Rishi Sunak had not visited the South-East since announcing the general election. Voters go to the polls on July 4
