I have been a regular reader of your magazine after I retired a number of years ago. I started using a secondhand Nikon D5600, together with a few lenses. I enjoy photographing wildlife and birds, but soon realized I needed a longer zoom lens. But even secondhand prices for the zoom distance I wanted were out of my price range.
