THE iconic 1894-built Grade II-listed footbridge from St Erth station in Cornwall is to be moved to the East Somerset Railway’s Cranmore headquarters and re-erected.
The footbridge, which gives access over the tracks at the west end of the station, has been given to the heritage line free of charge by Network Rail, which is building a modern, fully-accessible, step-free replacement.
