THE 2023 Fall US Bridge Championships took place last November in Atlanta, Georgia. Universally known as the ‘Fall Nationals’, it is a real bonanza of bridge—starting with the Soloway Teams. My team narrowly failed to qualify for the knockout phase and pre-tournament favourites Zimmermann from Switzerland justified their seeding.
