IN MARCH, a new financial services ombud replaced four of our separate financial ombud schemes. The National Financial Ombud (NFO) places the offices of the banking ombud, the credit ombud, the long-term insurance and the short-term insurance ombud under a single umbrella. It’s still an independent and impartial service to resolve disputes between consumers and service providers.
