MKP could be good ... or not, for KZN

THE emergence of the uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MKP) as a political force in KwaZulu-Natal opens up interesting scenarios for the province, including coalitions that could bring either positive developments or “chaos” .

This is the view of analysts after the MKP secured a 45.34% majority vote in the province.

Dr Edwin Yingi, a political analyst from Unisa, said the MKP’s victory could mean many things for the province.
