Happy Father’s Day WITH LOVE

Helping Mum decide what needed to go to charity, I found a box at the back of Dad’s wardrobe.

‘What’s inside this?’ I asked as I put it on the bed.

Mum looked puzzled. ‘I have no idea, Joanne,’ she said. ‘Knowing Dad, it could be almost anything. Look what I’ve just found!’

She showed me a small tin of fishing lures. ‘He must have hidden these among his socks so I wouldn’t throw them out.’
