A CHOICE TO MAKE

Feeling the hot water hit me, I squeezed a blob of shampoo onto my hair.

Working the soap into a lather, I froze as my hand reached the nape of my neck.

Running my hands over my scalp, I’d noticed a bald patch.

Oh, God, I felt my heart sink.

I’d first noticed I’d been losing hair at the back of my head about 18 months ago.
