Imagine you are a waitress or a waiter. Let us say serving in the restaurant of a large resort hotel. It offers a buffet breakfast so, whilst there is plenty to do (mainly clearing up) the welcomes given to people are important and there is time for some chat with guests.
Now let me set this alongside my observations on the last holiday I was on (in a Marriott resort in Thailand). The breakfast was exceptional, so everyone was happy. Those there were
