Book thieves busted
Europol has arrested nine people from Georgia for being part of a ring stealing rare books from academic libraries and institutions across Europe, writes Gary Dalkin.
Volumes stolen include first editions by Gogol and Puskin, from the University of Warsaw, and a dozen manuscripts from the Paris-based National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilisations. Methods employed
