QUERY OF THE MONTH

1600E upgrades

Q I have just recently purchased a Cortina 1600E. I intend to restore the bodywork and interior to concours standard, but I would like make some serious mechanical modifications to improve the handling and performance. After considering different options I would like stick with the original 1600 Crossflow powerplant by increasing the power output.

I would like to install uprated callipers and vented discs to the front and larger drums
