oepfer‘s Basic System 3 is equipped with a total of 20 modules. There are four case variations to choose from. The absolutely robust flight case versions A-100P6 and A-100P9 are particularly suitable for transportation. The faux leather cases A-100LC6V and A-100LC9V have visual advantages in the studio, depending on your taste. As can be seen from the designations, there is one version available with 6U and one with 9U. In contrast to the Basic System 1 and 2, both offer free rack space in the basic configuration, which is covered with blank panels. This may look like a minor detail at first, but it is a useful innovation. This makes it possible to personalize and expand the system without having to immediately purchase a new housing or sort out existing modules. So, even if you can‘t yet foresee whether you’ll want to expand, even the smaller case offers the option of 20 HP.
