AND YOUR WINNERS ARE…

WELCOME TO THE TOP SANTÉ Skincare Awards 2024! We’ve been running these awards since 2017 and each year they grow bigger and better.

Our awards are completely unbiased as we have a panel of testers all aged between 40 and 80, who test the products and report on their efficacy, scoring them across different markers. That way we’re not swayed by industry or influencer leanings towards certain brands, but instead sharing with you the winners as voted for by real-life, everyday women who buy and use beauty products.

It’s always a pleasure to discover new brands and find new favourites – I know I have from this year’s pick of the best. Enjoy!

BEST SUNSCREEN FOR BODY

Winner

athletia Skin Protection UV Body Mist (£33, athletia-beauty.co.uk)

‘This mist has a natural plant scent that is nothing like most chemical sun lotions. It is completely non-greasy/sticky as it’s a water-based liquid, so there’s no residue on hands and it even leaves the skin feeling refreshed. Perfect for a quick spray on exposed areas.’ Nicky, 51

Highly commended

Ultrasun Family SPF30 (£22, ultrasun.co.uk)

‘This has a nice light consistency and smoothes over the skin well. The high protection and the fact it’s water resistant really does make you feel safer when out in the sun. I love that it’s for adults and children so saves on packing separate SPF creams, which I am all for!’ Bonnie, 49

BEST BATH PRODUCT

Winner

Baylis & Harding Goodness Oud, Cedar & Amber Bath Soak (£4, sainsburys.co.uk)

‘The smell is absolutely gorgeous; it has a very expensive feel to it. Easy to apply and a clean, natural product with a rich feel, it left my skin feeling wonderfully clean, soft and moisturised.’ Katie, 52

Highly commended

Slow Ageing Essential Bath Essence (£55, slowageing.co.uk)

‘This bath essence has a beautiful, delicate scent and leaves the skin feeling absolutely fantastic. I apply a tiny amount before bathing and add a capful to the bath water. Afterwards, my skin is left feeling pampered and moisturised.’ Sarah, 40

Highly commended

Westlab Balance Bath Salt (£5.99, westlabsalts.co.uk)

‘These salts have a zingy fragrance of jasmine and orange blossom, which is uplifting especially if you’re feeling a bit low. I am intrigued by the idea that they can support hormonal balance too – the fragrance is certainly calming.’ Natalie, 47

Shortlisted

Westlab Dead Sea Bath Salt (£4.99, westlabsalts.co.uk)

Dr. Hauschka Rose Nurturing Bath Essence (£19.50, drhauschka.co.uk)

BEST BODY EXFOLIATOR

Winner

Phyte Club CBD Citrus Scrub (£25, phyte.co.uk)

‘I love the scent of orange and eucalyptus, and this magnesium-rich body scrub certainly helps calm
