Using 2.75mm needles and yarn A, cast on 153 (165:183:201:213:231:249:261:279) sts.

Row 1 (RS): K3, *P3, K3; rep from * to end.

Row 2: P3, *K3, P3; rep from * to end.

These 2 rows form rib.

Cont in rib until work measures 5cm, dec (inc: -: dec: inc:-: dec: inc:-) 1 (1:-:1:1: -:1:1:-) st at each end of last row and ending with RS facing for next row.

151 (167:183:199:215:231:247:263:279) sts.

Change to 3.25mm needles.

Joining in yarn B when required, now work in patt
