Here comes the sun

If the soggy conditions that laid waste to the Festival of Power (twice) made you nostalgic for summer, this year’s Nostalgia Nationals had the answer. The early May Bank Holiday served up plenty of sunshine – allowing Santa Pod to serve up three full days of action, with five competitive classes mixed in among all the pre-’73 RWYB fun.

Bringing back the spirit of the early days was a strong field of Wild Bunch, Nostalgia Superstock, Outlaw Anglia, Supercharged Outlaws and Gasser Circus racers. In addition, the NSRA had its eye on the RWYB entries as it looked for worthy winners of its Quick Six gongs.
