Introduction

Having long followed the export of ex-BR class 86, 87 and 92 electric locomotives and recently inspired by Chris Bailey’s “Railways of Bulgaria” (incidentally published by Mainline & Maritime) I had been looking for an opportunity to visit Bulgaria.
