Gathering up all the dirty dishes, I started clearing the dinner table.
With food stuck around his mouth, my son Teddy, now three, and my daughter Evelyn, now six, had a burst of energy.

Every night, it was a challenge for me and my husband Sam, 35, to get them to bed.
