50ft yacht sunk by orcas

A pod of orcas attacked the rudder of a 50ft yacht, causing such substantial damage the yacht sank in the Strait of Gibraltar.

This was the latest in a spate of attacks thisaggressive behaviour was first observed in 2020, though many hundreds of yachts have also passed through the waters without incident.
