Sin loves to syncretise

Have you ever had a bowl of steak and custard served with a boerewors and strawberry milkshake? Probably not. That’s because neither exists. Why not? Because although each flavour is tasty on its own, they don’t go well together. Certain foods and flavours just don’t mix. The same is true for many things in life, especially when it comes to Christianity. Judges 17:1-13 tells an interesting story that perfectly illustrates this principle.
