of putting together the Seaglass Awards section in this issue was discovering new design talent or reacquainting myself with pros we’ve featured before. For the uninitiated, the Seaglass Awards is our annual showcase recognizing designers and architects across the state in a variety of categories—all chosen by judges from outside of and regulars. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the winning entries from Nar Design Studio, use of millwork and contemporary dining room, the last of which earned special recognition from the editorial team (when you turn to the section, you’ll see what I mean). And congratulations to Gloria Black in Naples for her well-deserved (and record) six wins. As I write this, more and more winning entries come to mind—Dunagan Diverio’s subterranean wine room (replete with world-class art) in Miami Beach, Adriana Hoyos’ endless foyer in Fisher Island, Lantz Collective’s unabashedly joyful guest suite in Old Naples, Angela Reynolds Design’s Chanel-inspired closet in Highland Beach, Czar Interiors' respectful (and six-year-long) restoration of a 1930s Mediterranean Revival estate in West Palm Beach’s El Cid neighborhood… I’ll stop there and let you discover your own favorites when you turn the page. There’s plenty more.
