Contemporary Dining Room
NAR DESIGN STUDIO
Heart of Stone
“The dining room takes center stage as the heart of this residence in Surfside, which draws inspiration from the captivating cenotes in Yucatan,” says designer Roberto Racy. “The focal point of the room is the natural stone wall, which exudes organic beauty. These massive pieces, which each weigh 1,500 pounds, inspire wonder and fascination. Their raw, natural beauty starkly contrasts with the opulence of the Sahara Noir marble-top dining table.” nardesignstudio.com

Wood Wonderment
“The main goal of this Surfside project was to put together elements of nature, contemporary luxury, and a refreshing spa-like atmosphere into an inviting residence,” says designer Roberto Racy. “To help us achieve that, we incorporated meticulously crafted bespoke millwork elements in each room. The great room entrance creates wow factor with a parametric wood detail on the ceiling, which draws inspiration from the fluidity of water, and transmits the idea of a cave-like environment.” nardesignstudio.com

Cocktail Hour
“Inspired by a trip to New Orleans, our Winter Springs clients wanted to convert their formal dining room into a moody parlor room with a speakeasy vibe,” says designer Ashley Sheaffer. “We began by designing a custom bar with lighted glass cabinetry and added some aged mirrors as the backdrop. To provide the space needed for the bar’s built-in cabinetry, we pushed back the wall that the room shares with the laundry room behind it. Next came inviting saddle-brown leather chairs, timeless moldings, sparkling accents, and a rich, dark paint everywhere.” kbfdesigngallery.com

This and That
“The contemporary dining and kitchen area of this Naples home demanded the right elements to make it feel fresh and elevated,” says designer Cele Cornejo. “The cleanlined dining table was selected in a dark wood finish to complement the counter stools’ finish, the kitchen island, the kitchen hood, and the wet bar cabinetry. To soften the overall look, round Bernhardt chairs upholstered in beige fabric were added. The light fixtures, cabinetry hardware, and wet bar plumbing fixtures were selected in brass to add warmth and sophistication to the space.” theorydesign.com

Come Right In!
“This Sarasota model home’s exhilarating experience begins in the foyer, which is wrapped with detailed wood trim and illuminated by slim, sconced lighting,” says builder Lee Wetherington. “The design team wanted the foyer to wrap visitors in warmth
