30 YEARS AGO – JULY 1994

A news story from 30 years ago highlighted the dangers of spinifex fires for those four wheelers heading into our remote desert country. With graphic photos of a Patrol bursting into flames and burning to nothing more than a charred metal shell, it was one of the first graphic warnings we had published on the dangers of spinifex fires. Today it is even more relevant, and with the advent of DPFs it is potentially more common. Be aware of the dangers of spinifex!
