DISCOVERY’S LIGHTS AND LOCKS ISSUE

There is a problem with my Discovery 2’s interior lights. For the last two or three years they’ve functioned at random: the main switch always powers the front lamp, but when put on the automatic (centre) setting they only work sporadically. The centre light over the rear seats hasn’t worked for years.

My local Land Rover specialist garage did fix them temporarily at the last MoT, saying that they were controlled from the door locks. This repair only lasted 24 hours. The wiring
