Relaxed MAYHEM

he seventh Twizel Show and Shine took place on 8–10 March, and although it’s still relatively new to the car community events calendar, word has reached far and wide about this fantastic weekend of activities — the show attracted a record number of people this year. The brainchild of local Pete Docherty, a classic car owner himself, the eventand is home to the Meridian Rowing Centre, which hosts many rowing events throughout the year. Also located close to the shores of the lake is Lake Ruataniwha Holiday Park, which also just so happens to be the major sponsor of the Twizel Show and Shine.
