THE BIG TEST ON THE face of it

YOUR HORSE’S GEAR BIG TEST | BRIDLES

ABRIDLE IS a critical piece of equipment that acts as a means of communication between horse and rider. Bridle design has evolved over time, with the core focus now firmly on ensuring comfort for the horse and a correct fit. Optional bridle features include anatomical headpieces and nosebands that are designed to complement the anatomy of a horse’s head, avoiding delicate facial nerves and structures.

Your Horse’s panel of testers has put a selection of off-the-peg bridles to the test over a period of three months. Keep reading to discover which ones came out on top.

How we score:

Each bridle is given a score out five for fit/comfort, quality/performance and value for money. This gives an overall score out of 15.
