Equestrian sports release longlists ahead of Paris Games

The countdown to the summer Olympic Games continues, with longlists released for Britain’s eventing and showjumping squads travelling to Paris.

Equestrian sport was first included in the Olympics 124 years ago, fittingly at the 1900 Paris Games, when disciplines included high jump, long jump and mail coach.

From 27 July-6 August this year horse sport enthusiasts will be able to follow the world’s top dressage riders, eventers and showjumpers as they compete at the Palace of Versailles.
