Did you always want to be a weather presenter?
I visited the BBC South Today studios when I was 13 after winning a jazz competition for . I saw the green screen (which used to be used for weather forecasts) and thought: “I want to do the weather.” Fourteen years later I was at BBC South Today doing the forecast, and the rest is history. I have presented the weather for 16 years now, but I’m also a qualified journalist so I do other stories for TV, online and radio
