I’mapolice sergeant working on neighbourhoods for West Yorkshire Police. I’m referred to as the real life sergeant because of my no-nonsense, straight-talking style, much like Sgt Catherine Cawood, played in the famous drama by Sarah Lancashire. I police rural Bradford and as a community sergeant I prioritise what my community wants.
