MAY’S MYSTERY

The Mystery Ship is Canastota, which was built in 1907 as Falls of Orchy by Napiershowing signs of charring later washed up on Lord Howe Island, and a Taffrail Log believed to be from the ship was found near Seal Rocks, New South Wales. The ship was lost together with her crew of 49. No bodies were recovered and it is presumed a fire and explosion was the cause of her demise.
