Barry Symmons, motorcycle race team manager, was best-known for running the Honda Britain and JPS Norton teams. He also oversaw Steve Hislop’s historic Senior TT win on the Norton in 1992.
Barry got into bikes completely by accident. In the 1960s, he went to Brands Hatch expecting to watch a car race, but there were no cars, just bikes. He was instantly hooked, and the bike racing world would benefit enormously as a result.
