Growing up in Northumberland, Chris Baber (pictured opposite) discovered his passion for both food and fitness at an early age. His upbringing instilled in him the belief that these two elements are intricately linked – a philosophy that continues to define his approach today. In 2016 he won the TV cooking show Yes Chef and he hasn’t looked back since, with experience in Michelin-starred restaurants and parnerships with leading brands – including HexClad.
His recipes reflect his ethos: fuelling the body with nourishing meals without sacrificing flavour or enjoyment. His approach to food is refreshingly simple: no counting calories or restrictive diets. Instead, he tailors recipes to individual needs while prioritising taste and quality. “I believe in a common-sense approach to food,” he says. “For me, food is a joy meant to be enjoyed, not abused.”
