Apocalypse now

OOKING forward to an afternoon reading in the garden, I was disturbed by what sounded like the noise of helicopters coming in my direction. It was not an airborne fleet, but about 5,000 bees—they had swarmed from their hives at the top of our garden () to an apple tree beside my deck chair. Our cat was terrified and ran off.
