Pastors challenge Pride campaign

‘Education is needed’

A CHATSWORTH pastor has come under fire after he publicly labelled the Woolworths Pride campaign an “evil movement with evil intention”.

Brian Sibeko-Ngidi, director of Uthingo Network (formerly known as the Gay and Lesbian Network), said that in 2024 it was disheartening to observe that judgement, hate and exclusion still marred the lives of LGBTQ+ South Africans.

Pride Month is dedicated to the celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender pride.

The collection features T-shirts and sweat-shirts with rainbows resembling Pride Month.
