“Is it possible to display an RGB histogram in the viewfinder of the EOS R6 Mark II?”
Shane Edwards, Ellesmere Port
BRIAN SAYS… It is possible to display a histogram in the electronic viewfinder and you can choose brightness or RGB histograms. The EVF and LCD screen have different options for what can be displayed and cycled through by pressing the INFO button. Navigate to Shooting info.disp in the camera menu, then select VF info/toggle settings. There are three possible displays with the second and third further customizable as to the additional info displayed. You can select any or all from detailed shooting info, histogram and electronic level. While looking through the EVF, press the INFO button to cycle through the available displays. If the histogram is not visible, check display simulation is set to exposure or exposure + DOF.
