MCMINNVILLE THE PLACE TO GO
Notable aviation museums include the Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson, which has an adjacent aeroplane graveyard with over 4000 planes in storage and the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio – home of the Wright brothers – featuring the Boeing B-29 Bockscar, which dropped the secondever atomic bomb used in war, on Nagasaki. There is, of course, the Steven F Udvar-Hazy Centre, part of the Smithsonian Institute, at Dulles Airport, Virginia, near Washington DC, which has an SR-71; a Concorde; the Space Shuttle Discovery; and the Enola Gay, the bomber which dropped the first atomic bomb, on Hiroshima.
However, the museum that I want to share with you is less well known but just as interesting and is in McMinnville,
