Spoiler alert: this is the best album of the year. I’ve probably said that about something else in the past six or so months, but I was lying. This is it, the sleaziest, wildest, head-boppingest brain melter of 2024. Membrains soundskin, belting out party anthems for people who’ve ruined every party they’ve ever been to. Despite their name, there’s not a lot of brain work here; this is all groin thunder. And of course the best thing about it is that the Membrains could not care less what I think.
