The HOT List

You want new rock? Oh we’ll give you new rock. Once again confirming that our portion of the musical world is a fruitful place (so fruitful, in fact, that it can be difficult to know where to begin) Classic Rock’s Hot List returns to flag up some of our favourite new tracks and on-the-rise artists worth watching out for. We’ve got everything this month: bands, solo artists, 80s vibes, prog-tastic flutes, Struts-meets-Bangles poprock, soulful troubadour stuff, the hottest new teenage guitar star in Nashville, ‘yacht doom’… (yes ‘yacht doom’ is real, and, as Bill Fisher proves on the page on the right, it’s much more than just a funny name).

Check them out, and if you like what you hear there’s a good chance they’ll be playing live
