JOHN KANTERS

Hey, John. What drew you to the world of performance cars, and how did you get started in this passion? What was your first car?

Being young and naive, I thought I had something quick. I loved that car and tried a few times to buy it back, but it was never for sale (until recently, but I was already well down the path with my current one).

I’m into all kinds of cars and have owned or still own American V8s and Porsches, but VWs have always been there in one way or another.

Why did you choose this car to build?
