‘50s’ to haul first Leven railtour since its reopening

CLASS 50 Alliance locomotives will visit the Leven line on August 26, becoming the first railtour to visit the line since it reopened.

This will be the third day of a three-day ‘Grampian Highlander’ charter run by Pathfinder Tours.

The tour begins at Taunton behind a GB Railfreight locomotive on August 24, with pick-ups to Stafford. The C50A machines, expected to be Nos. 50007 and 50049 , will take over the tour at Gloucester. This337).
