The Mattingly distilling legacy is back

The Mattingly name was once one of the biggest in the Kentucky bourbon industry, and today it’s making a comeback. The J Mattingly 1845 Distillery recently opened a homeplace in Frankfort, Kentucky, right across the street from the historic Buffalo Trace, after a rebranding from a previous version of the company that was located in Georgetown, Kentucky called Bourbon 30.
