We live among swindlers; and my very own swindler is in my bed. I am a successful career-driven woman and I’ve been working in government for over 20 years. Two years ago, my husband of 23 years asked for a divorce with the aim of equally sharing our assets in order for him to pay off his debts. I agreed to the divorce as he had promised to remarry me. In December 2023, I was shocked to learn that he used part of my pension fund to pay lobola for his mistress. He even put up our home as security to a loan shark by giving them our title deed. I feel that I should take legal action as he has robbed me financially and emotionally.
