CAMILLE ENGEL’S TROMPE-L’OEIL OIL PAINTING DEPICTS BLACK RAVEN ON GAME TABLE WITH PLAYING CARDS

Camille Engel, a visual artist who has been named one of the USA’s three artists to watch by Fine Art Connoisseur magazine, stepped back into the international arts spotlight in late September when one of her original oil paintings was exhibited at the 2011 International Guild of Realism Exhibition in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The artist’s painting, “Strike A Pose”, has been selected for the highly anticipated IGOR exhibition at the Sage Gallery, which was open to the public from September 30 to October 22, presenting the best in today’s realism art, featuring a wide spectrum from contemporary to classical realism, created by artists from all over the world. This is the sixth straight year an Engel painting has been selected for this important juried exhibition.
