• ¼ yard total of three light prints for appliqué background• ⅛ yard tan print for inner border and Four-Patch border corners• ⅓ yard olive green print for outer border and binding• 8 – 2" squares in a variety of dark prints (black, rose, and green) for Four-Patch border corners• 7" square black wool for hen, wing, and flagpole• 4 ½" square of black check and tan wool for hens• 1 ½" x 2 ½" piece of two black checked wools for wings• 4 ½" square• 2" square green wool for leaves• 1" x 2" gold wool for flower centers and beaks• 1 ½" x 2" dark pink wool for hat• 1 ½" x 2 ½" of assorted wools for balloons• 2 ½" x 3 ½" red wool for flag• 2" x 3 ½" white wool for flag• 1 ½" x 2" navy blue wool for flag• DMC floss to match wool, including Gold #782, Green #730, and Black #310• Fusible web of choice for balloons, flowers, and leaves• Freezer paper
