Regarded as a little brother to the expansive pointbreak-laden North Coast, the South Coast of New South Wales has been an escape for Sydney surfers as long as foam has been blown to form the core of surfboards. The Boneyard, Sandon Point, Green Island and Mollymook Golf Course Reef were some of the ‘known’ targets for a weekend surf trip. The locals, rightly protective of their other patches of
